Is the Amazfit Bip Waterproof?
The Amazfit Bip is IP68 certified which means resistant to dust, rain, splashing, and accidental submersion. It can withstand a maximum depth of 1.5 meter water for up to 30 minutes. We do not recommend to wear it when you are taking a shower/bath, having a spa, swimming or in the sauna or steam room. If you want a tracker suitable for swimming we recommend this tracker.
Can you reply to text messages from the Amazfit Bip?
The Amazfit Bip supports receiving and reading text messages and other apps like Whatsapp notifications, but it doesn't support reply to text messages directly from the watch.
Does the Amazfit Bip GPS work without my phone?
Yes the Amazfit BIP does not need your phone to record your activities, and because of the 22 hours autonomy with GPS tracking enabled, you can save a lot of battery on your phone.
