- MIDI IN/OUT ports are connected to the Raspberry RX/TX serial pins (10 and 8)

- The I/O ports are 5 volts compatible so that you can use it for 5 volts Eurorack modules Gate or Triggers

- 5 volts MIDI standard with buffer
- 4 SPI ports to solder an OLED screen or any other SPI device
- Version 1.3: has support for rotary encoders
Included: four nylon spacers, height = 9mm
Casing options:
- tall transparent case like this one, just need to make two holes for the TRS Midi
- use both sides of two standard PI Zero acrylic sheets as shown in the photo. To hold each corner in place, you need a 10mm screw, an 8mm spacer, and a 1mm washer, a 5mm spacer, and finally a nut. All with a standard diameter of 2.5mm.
We are sorry that we cannot sell these options on our site, because indeed we have no way to offer these boxes at a reasonable price when standard Asian options are available at 1 euro each...

Operation mode is good. Installation is documented but could be easier with a appropriate script. MIDI ports are type B what is not very common. Most manufactorer use MID type A. I had to build a converting cable of my own.
I would appreciate if the MIDI ports would be A type or had a switch for A or B mode.NIC works perfect and without any installtion work.
Thanks for your feedback! We’re glad the hat works perfectly for you.
For easier installation, try the **ttymidi-sysex package from ldrolez** as shown on our blog—it automates the process. If you need help or have more suggestions, just contact support, we usually fix things quickly.
We’ll consider your note about MIDI port types for future updates!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re glad you had a great experience and appreciate your trust. Always happy to help! 😊
It works perfectly by following the instructions to install ttymidi-sysex. Compatible with Alsa and Python. I also managed to connect buttons to the IO ports, and I fully intend to test all sorts of encoders!
